How long should my hair be to get a wax?
You'll get the best results if you let the hair grow to about as long as a grain of rice (0.5cm-1cm)so the wax can fully grab the hair.
Do I need to prepare for my wax?
Nope! Our Wax Enthusiasts will take care of everything. We just kindly request that you arrive on time.
It's my first time waxing. Does waxing hurt?
It varies based on how much discomfort you can handle. When it comes to waxing, we're talking about yanking out hair from the root. But fear not! Our skilled Wax Enthusiasts will do their best to keep you as comfotable as possible, throughout the process.
How far in advance do I need to book?
The sooner, the better as we book up quickly. Normal hair growth recommendation is 4 weeks or plus minus 1cm in length; to allow wax to grab the hairs better, allowing a smoother period for longer.
I have some extra sparkle down below. Can I still wax?
Worried you might lose a little more than just hair? Don't worry, we work around piercings just fine (as long as they're not brand new). Wait 4 weeks after a new one so that we keep the skin and the piercing in perfect condition.
when is the best time to wax?
If you have a low pain threshold – try not come while you are on your cycle as you may find this more painful. Ideally, try booking your appointment the week after your menstrual cycle as your pain threshold is a little higher.
Can I wax if I'm on medication?
Please note that if you are using Accutane, we cannot provide waxing services due to associated risks. We ask that you inform us of any medications you are currently taking, to ensure a safe and satisfactory waxing experience.
If we are unsure of side effects of your meds, we may ask for advisement from your doctor/dermatologist.
Can I walk-in or do I need an appointment?
We would greatly appreciate it if you could schedule an appointment with us. This way, we can ensure that you'll be taken care of promptly and won't have to face the disappointment of being turned away due to our jam-packed schedule.
Body Syncing
While the smoother the better, intercourse on the day of the wax is likely to lead to skin irritation. For best (and sexiest) results, wait 24 hours before getting hot and sweaty.

I just started my monthly. Must I reschedule?
We can still do your waxing while on your cycle. Just use a fresh tampon so that we can work without flow, and bear in mind that it might be slightly more painful.
What is a Stripped Cherry Wax?

What happens if I get an erection?
Fear not, as we commence the waxing procedure, your body will naturally shrink things down in an attempt to "preserve your manhood. However, if your erection refuses to cooperate, we'll have to halt the treatment and reschedule, as a fully erect penis makes waxing quite challenging.
How old do you have to be to get waxed?
NakedCherry's policy is to require guests under 16 to have parental consent for bikini waxing services. Oh, and just in case you were wondering…there’s no upper age limit, either :p
Can I take a pill?
An anti-inflammatory pill reduces discomfort during full body waxing. An allergy pill alleviates histamine reactions for those with sensitive skin. It is advisable to avoid consuming caffeine or alcohol prior to your waxing session.
How long do the results last?
After your first wax, the results can last between 2-4 weeks, depending on the hair’s re-growth. In most cases, hair growth is minimal during the first week or two but noticeably increases in the third and fourth week. If you used to shave, a few treatments may be required to see the full beneficial effects of the waxing.

I am struggling to book an appointment; am I doing something wrong?
There could be a number of reasons from no availability on the day for your treatment, to a problem with the online booking system. Any problems booking please contact us on [email protected]
I need to reschedule my appontment, but its less that 24hrs notice
We understand that life happens and you sometimes need to reschedule your appointment; but rescheduling on the day of your appointment will still result in cancelation fees as you are vacating a slot on short notice.
Non-Arrival Fees
No-shows or late cancellation fees will be charged 50% of the reserved service amount. If you have 3 or more no shows on file, you will be charged the full amount of the service.

In order for us to ensure you have an all around smooth experience, we have to make sure we've got your correct details and medical history.
Seperate profiles
As much as you may like sharing 🤪 we unfortunately have to have separate profiles and contact details for each and every client.
I want to buy a NakedCherry Gift Voucher
We do two types of Gift Vouchers, either a Rand value or for a specific treatment. If you need a gift voucher in a rush, we can email you a printable gift voucher or you could order a well presented gift voucher that can be posted to you or ready for pick up from your desired salon.
What about childcare during my appointment?
Kids will be asked to wait in the designated area, so make sure to bring something to keep them entertained while you get "de-fluffed. If you could kindly mention this in the "special instructions," we'll schedule some extra time to accommodate any interruptions.

Are your products tested on animals?
No! All of our products are cruelty-free and only tested on humans. Our products are also free of parabens, biocides, SLS's and mineral oils.
What can I use at home to extend the results of my waxing experience?
We offer a smooth selection of homecare products that seamlessly integrate into your everyday regimen. Currently, our best-selling item is still our Ingrown Terminator Spray, known for its effectiveness in addressing skin issues.
What is the shelf life of my products?
The shelf life once you have opened your bump-free bottle of maintenance, is 12 months.
